Hey, can anyone on Telus confirm if their location data works with this app? I love it but for some reason the app cannot load my current location. Doesn't it just use the GPS? Google maps works great so I'm confused why this one doesn't.
Depends on the phone and OS version, but given that you're on a Bold 9700, I can't see why it wouldn't work. At the very least, it should be able to triangulate a likely area based on you cell phone signals and which towers your phone is communicating with.
If the GPS isn't working with Google Maps, start by ensuring its on and that it works with BB Maps. Beyond that, you may need to check a few other settings.
