My Tour on Sprint doesn't allow me to use the GPS in Google maps, I feel left out It is only using the cell tower triangulation

It works in BB maps and Sprint Nav...what's the dealio?!

I've got the newest version of Google Maps and have GPS enabled but I'm still not getting a GPS lock. I've tried deleting, restarting, and reinstalling but it still doesn't work. Anyone else still having the same issues?

What's the diff between the Tour 3.02ver as compared to the Storm 3.02ver?

I downloaded GMaps on Sun when I got my Tour and the GPS locks just fine. If you want it to go right to your location, hit the "0" key. (That's the number 0 key)

no diff other than that the new release doesnt think the tour is a storm. its merely cosmetic, doesnt affect function.

I've downloaded and reinstalled google maps as recently as 10 minutes ago, and I still get the storm version. Anyone have any suggestions?

Yep. It seems to be a Sprint Tour issue since I never see Verizon users complaining about it. How ironic.
