I downloaded Google maps and it always says GPS Temp. Unavailable. Any Suggestions?

I have experienced issues with GPS and 5.0 on my Tour. Others have as well.

Who is your carrier? There are issues with telus and google maps. See the telus forums for more info.

Google maps does not work on Sprint at the moment. It may work after the new Maintenance Release coming next week since some BES users already have a version from Sprint that does work with Google Maps.

Same chit with Bell, apparntley they crippledit, they want peeps to use there BellNav or whatever they are calling it.

I have sprint and i have never been able to get google maps to work rite on my Tour! it always gives me a approximate location but when i go in BB Maps it shows me right where I am.
I loved google maps on my 8330 and 8830 but it sucks on the tour!

i hope they can fix this soon!

by the way i do have GPS turned on! haha
i have tryed 5.0 and it worked just as BAD as it did on 4.7
