That's the link I found on my torch 9800 where I was able to download google maps. Beware I downloaded before and it made my phone go on that cycle where the rebooting gets suck 3/4 of the way and then starts again. I was able to fix that cyclee and restired my phone, tried again and was able to download and install no problem

Not sure if you can activate it though. Believe google shut down the activation process. There are ways to do it though

No, they fixed that a few weeks back. I was able to click through the terms of service a week and a half ago when I updated my OS.

Because BB Maps doesn't show me how bad the traffic is citywide at a glance, or give me satallite view, or street view.

And, furthermore, BB Maps sucks, especially if you don't live in, I guess, the States. I'm having serious issues reinstalling Google Maps when it mysteriously disappeared from my phone. I hope this works....

I use both Google Maps (4.x) and BB Traffic/Maps. Both work perfect on my 9810 Torch. I am in the states but have read on here in many posts that it works great elsewhere as well.

I also have mapquest on MyWorld but don't use it much. I do use Poynt quite a bit, mostly looking for Starbucks in the town or area I'm in -LOL! Is a good app but you have to make sure and close it or it will munch your battery like no tomorrow!

Maybe some peeps know about this and the others don't. Make sure to enable your browser support java script. Otherwise there's no google maps when you go to the page
