I use Google Maps, Latitude, Sync, Voice. Love these apps but they're not so great on BlackBerry.

Are these apps being updated by Google or just ignored because of Android?

Voice and Maps especially are awesome on Android but I prefer BlackBerry.

Anyone know the last time Google apps were updated on the BlackBerry.

The Voice app is horrible. It works but is slow and ugly.

Not an answer to your question, but I was feeling same way about Voice being a recent convert from Android.

However, after adding the "406" numbers to each of my frequent contacts, I actually find it more enjoyable to use the native app.

As for SMS, I have unlimited plan so YMMV.

Yes, I did add the GV reply # to my contacts that I SMS with. I usually do end up sending an "sms" email via the GV address rather than the app.

I have my phone texts blocked. I use Google Voice SMS to save $20 a month.
