    I'm trying to find a way to move off of using the gmail application, and instead start to use the built in push email blackberries are supposed to use. I currently have my gmail account associated with my BIS account, but only messages from facebook and myspace are actually sent to the device, and their respective apps pick them up before I even see the message. With the addition of HTML email, there is even more incentive for me to find a way to make the switch.

    So I ask all you crackberryers, what is your solution?
    For those of you with gmail, how do you handle it? Do you have a way to archive messages in gmail while deleting them from the BB? Do you just live with the issues? Do you do what I do and stick with the gmail app?

    I just have gmail pushed to my blackberry. And then mark it read when I get back to my laptop. Nothing more nothing less.

    I have my gmail set up as a POP3 account on my BlackBerry.
