I have been using the Gmail app since I got my 8350i back in Dec of 08. Not a single problem at all.

Did you give it permissions to run?? (if not, I am not sure how you would go about that, perhaps, if that is the case, someone could point you in the right direction??

I ran into the problem when I went to the mobile google site from the phone it said the app won't run on the 8350i. How should I go about getting around that and installing it?

That's the same way I got it on mine and has been working flawlessly since I installed in soon after I got my BB.

Are you using the native browser as you're attempting this?

I just used the native browser and it worked without any problems. Scrolled down to the Gmail link.

    So, the link is working

I used the native browser and when I try to go to m.google.com I get a 504 gateway timeout error. When I use Opera it works but then when I click on the Gmail link it says "Sorry the Gmail application does not work on your 8350i..." I don't get why I'm the only one having this problem.
