I have the facebook icon on my phone and i dont use it and am not sure if it is taking up memory on my phone....i went under options> applications> and i dont see it anywhere? is it under another name or am i just missing something?

It should show up under your desktop manager when you connect your BB to your computer.

You can't get rid of that as it's part of the system. I tried and tried then finally realized that.

the icon you are seeing at first is just a link to download eh full app. It is something your carrier pushes to your phone...its not really the "full" app per se.

highlight it then click the menu key and select hide.
it will then not show on your screen. you can allways click the menu key and select show all if want it to appear again.
I do that with all the "SHOP" icons, ie shop themes, shop tunes, etc.
I just created a folder and put them in a folder and hid the folder.

I think it is just a link so shouldnt take too much memory
