I'm having a hard time finding some gameboy emulation software through google for the Blackberry Pearl 8130. I just wanted to see if I could get Pokemon Red/Blue on my phone, lol. Anyone had any luck with this?

Wondering about that too, I tried playing Zelda Beta 3 but the A and B buttons don't seem to work, I can assign them but when I press them nothing happens.
Gameboy emulator sounds fun although I hear audio quality really sucks with those but I'd playing playing my games on silent though if I hade one on my BB.

I don't think there is one... The zelda app was a custom one and it never seemed to work for my curve the buttons all did the same thing even after I changed the config

there is an emulator for gameboy and gameboy color games. It isn't for blackberry, but for java phones (so there are a .jar and a .jad file and those 2 files could be converted with "BSC Jar to ALX").
That's the way you gotta make it:
1. Make sure you have Java installed on your computer, version 1.5 or later.
2. Download MeBoyBuilder.jar from arktos.se/meboy/ver/latest/MeBoyBuilder.jar
3. Run MeBoyBuilder.jar by double-clicking.
4. Press the "Add ROM" and select a ROM file. Repeat for all games you want to add (some phones do not accept very large ".jar" files though).
5. Press the "Finish" button. The file MeBoy.jar is created for you (in the same directory as MeBoyBuilder.jar, or your browser's default directory).
6. Run "BSC Jar to ALX" and convert the .jar and .jad to the .alx and .cod
7. Start Desktop Manager and install the Emu/Game on you Blackberry.
To run Pokemon Red or Blue without this flickering screen edit the settings to the following set up:
* Frame skip:5
* Number of 90 degree turns: 0
* Max number of 16kb banks to load: 80
* [check]scale to fit
* [check]keep proportions
* [uncheck or check] Start in full screen
Hope I could help ya

So, here it is:
Package includes a COD & ALX file and a JAR & JAD file.
Following roms are included:
- Pokemon Blue
- Pokemon Green
- Pokemon Yellow
- Pokemon Silver
- Pokemon Gold
- Pokemon Crystal
Red isn't included cause its the same as blue, but blue contains some more monsters
Gotta post a link to a hoster, because the file is 8 MB big and I couldn't upload here:::uploaded.to/?id=zj8n8j

I don't think so.
I searched for one few days ago, cause I was interested in one too, but I only found java emulators for PC. None for mobile phones (in jar/jad file-format) or blackberry.
I've read that the hardware is may too slow for an emukation of GBA games and that's may be the reason why there is no emulator.
I think you'll notice that even the pokemon games run bit slow on blackberry (at least at my 8700g they are running bit slow, I think it's the same on other models ), so we gotta wate for some better phones/devices with more power (a core 2 duo intel cpu for example xD).

One more question-
I downloaded some ROMS from the site you linked to- they all have ".7z" as the file extension.
When I try to add them, the app says they're not valid ROM files, so they can't be added.

7z is a file format like zip or rar. the 7z file contains the gb file, which is the rom-file.
you have to extract them with WinRAR or 7zip.Where can I find the download link for the english version? It seems to be gone now...

Few days ago I found this NES-emulator called "vNES".
The emulator comes with a lot of games.
Mario, Donkey Kong and Zelda are just a few of them.
Works fine on my 8700g.
The Zip file contains alx & cod + reg-key, heres the link:
