Does anyone know of a reliable free VNC viewer for Blackberry (that will work on OS6)? My friend finally switched from iPhone to BB and that's the only thing he really misses as TeamViewer was free for iPhone.

About the only program I know of that might help you is VNC+ from Shape Services. It is not free. I seem to remember that I paid $29.95 for my copy

Please find the latest version of VNC+ for BlackBerry here:
    http://www.rdmplus.com/vnc/bb/download.html

To get started with VNC+, please read Getting Started Guide:
    http://www.rdmplus.com/download/doc/vncplus_getstart_blackberry.pdf

VNC+ runs on your BlackBerry and requires a program (the VNC server) to run on your PC. You will also need to make use of www.dyndns.com and to confogure your home router to allow the correct incoming IP port to be router to your PC. I'd also reccomend configuring your PC to have a fixed IP address on your home network.

Once all the above is done, you will be able to (very slowly) connect to your home PC from anywhere you can access the BlackBerry network (BIS) or WiFi.

I use my copy to access my home server that runs my video surveilance system. It works well but, like I said, slowly because the BlackBerry is a small and slow device when compared to a PC.
