Hi, I`m looking to find a wordpad -ish app for my 8530. I find the notepad that comes on it inadequate, and Word To Go won`t work. Any help� Anything better than notepad would be good.. I can`t find anything in appworld.

.jad would be how you would get it over the air (OTA) straight to your BB.

.cod (alone) would be how you would get it from your PC to your BB if you have BBSAK. (If you don't have that, we won't go there now.)

.cod AND .alx would be how you would get it from your PC to your BB using Desktop Manager. Download both of them. Put them both in the same folder on your PC. Use Desktop Manager, Application Loader. Click the browse button and find the .alx file.

I see that the .alx file isn't a link. Click on it and copy it from your browser. paste it into windows Notepad and save it as BBNotePad.alx

Or you can just point your bb browser here to the OTA apps directory. Its in there also

It still isn't working.. the alx file saves as a txt, and it won't go on app loader.
