Just a bit of warning for everyone...this is an Alpha version. Use at your own risk.

I'm on a 9800 and can't get BBM integration to work either

Same here. Said BBM slots have already been full. Can't get back to the set-up. When I go into BBM now, I see "connected services" which I've never noticed before. Clicking on Edit I see 4sq. Then under says - disabled by RIM. Why on eath would they do that? Isn't this what they are trying to push and promote??? Pull it together RIM! You know now is not the time to be pulling s*** like this!!

When I originally downloaded the Alpha, I could actually integrate 4sq with BBM - basically all it does is update your status on BBM to where you have checked in. When you check-in, you have options to post to Facebook, twitter - there was also an option to post to BBM.
I rebooted my 9800 after some additional updates, then it disappeared (received the same error message that everyone else has been getting).Mike MacFarlane

can someone please tell me why you guys keep referring that Foursquare uses GPS? It uses cell tower triangulation not GPS.

I got the error message

Torch 9800 6.0.0.576 and BBM 6.0.0.111
Definitely not working (mind you neither could I integrate the FB beta with BBM either as displayed on their screenshot).
I have Filescout as well so I'll try to integrate that to BBM and see if that worksiPhone 4

Let's hope they open up this 'download limit' up a bit getting sick of it ...

This is an alpha release, why is everyone so upset that it isn't working perfectly- that's what you signed up for by downloading it. The BBM functionality doesn't even affect the performance of the app. Everyone needs to calm down.
