I am trying to get this app for my 9700. I see that it is available for the 9700 on AT&T but it's pre-loaded or available from the AT&T catalog. I have the 9700 on T-Mobile and want to get it but can't find how to get it.
I'm waiting for it aswell. I had it on my curve & miss having it on my 9700. I emailed my bank's mobile banking support department & they said they don't have a date on when it will be available.
I am running this app on an AT&T Bold and it works great...as of the other day I was able to add Bank of America and American Express, it looks like they opened it up to more banks now!! I contacted the developer to see how to get the app on other devices and they mentioned a website launching in a couple weeks where you can download the app OTA...can't wait!!
That would be great. It would probably work for my 9700 if I could trick their website from thinking I was using a 9700 to an 8900. When you use the 8900, it downloads version 4. And when you use the 9700 with the direct URL, it downloads version 3.
I tried to download all the COD files and JAD file manually and upload it to my domain and then install from there, but it makes the application throw up a certificate error.
Hopefully the website comes up soon. I use USAA and it looks awesome when used on the 8900.
So you AT&T users have this working on your 9700 phones? I can't get this thing to work, I keep getting a certificate error on launch. Any help would be appreciated....OTA link maybe
I am with Wachovia and they use it but are getting a new version this month as part of the Wells Fargo takeover. Once you sign up they give you a link and activation code.
The tmo.mbanking.mobi link? that doesn't work for me. I get that certificate error.
The same thing happened to me. I called Firethorn, Wachovia and TMO and couldn't get past it. I decided to wait until the new version for Wachovia/Wells Fargo comes out later this month.
Ahh man! If your using a OS, that required you to delete the vender.xml file, your SOL on this. It bring the cert for your correct carrier with it. Downgrading to your Carrier's latest OS will fix this issue.
Doesn't the vendor.xml file come down when you register on the network? Every time I upgrade my OS, its always there.

I remember this app being slow and cumbersome, frequently not up-to-date or unavailable, and I'm not too keen on yet another 3rd-party having access to my banking info. USAA's mobile site has improved a lot, so I deleted the Mobile Banking app and downloaded a USAA shortcut to my home screen a long time ago.

How did you hear about that Wells Fargo app? And thank you for that info, that eases my mind alot. I used to use that mobile banking app all the time to pay bills.

It is slow, I'm glad to hear they have another app coming out soon. I do agree with your 3rd party comments. But if Wells Fargo/Wachovia release there own app that uses there own servers, that would be fine with me. As long as it doesn't have a big footprint on my BB.

When I spoke with Wachovia a couple of weeks ago they told me they weren't taking any new mobile banking customers because a new app was coming out in Feb. Firethorn also confirmed that but didn't have a date.
I just tried to use the tmo.mbanking.mobi site to download my banking app for USAA and it says the page is not found 404. I called USAA Online services and they said it's possible the site is down, there's nothing on their end that says it's not working.
So I live chatted with tMobile and they say it's not on their end but the site is provided at the institutions responsibility of keeping it up to date.
They did it, no... THEY did it... It's not us it's them... No it's them! ... psh...
