    We ran this in June:

Special Report Bonus Review: Fake Call
Many of you will love Fake Call & many of you will hate it. This clever BlackBerry application does a very good job of making the phone look & sound like its getting a call. You can set your incoming-call spoof screen to use any number & any name, specify any ring tone (custom or your standard) & even specify audio to play back when you push the answer button. Set a delay time, start its countdown & try to look surprised or annoyed when the ringtone sounds. Bottom line: if there are meetings youd love to dodge & you can get away with that, this is a clever way to invite yourself to exit.

Same here. Running 4.5.0.56. Alltel 8130

    No sound. Will vibrate.

When I select "Set Ringtone" there's a LONG pause and then it opens a page where there's supposed to be ringtones to choose from yet there's only 1 or 2 alarms. If I select "Set Ringtone" over and over and over again it'll finally populate the field with all the sounds on the device from alarms to notifications and then FINALLY to ringtones.

But, when I select one it will not let me hear it when I select "Test Ringtone" and it will not play it at the desired time. It does vibrate though at the set time. I too have paid for this. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! I really use this app a LOT!! TIA

use the Green and Red buttons. the touch screen buttons does not work.

    This is pretty funny. lol

Although, I guess I'm kind of rude cause I answer my phone in front of everyone. I don't have anything that secretive to discuss that I would need to leave the room to take a call. lol

I am using a custom theme on my 8320 that changes the incoming call screen to the BOLD incoming call screen. Is there any way to select which incoming call screen displays when a call is received? If not, perhaps this is an option that should be considered...

    Thanks

    Great Ap!

I had this Ap on my Treo 700 (same ap name BTW) and I had been waiting for the Storm version since November.

The only thing different is the Random selection of the caller. I would prefer a user selectable "Fake Caller" just in case the real caller is calling you within the set countdown.

I know I can differentiate the fake from the real by the ringtone I selected, but I still would prefer a selectable caller.

Now I'm waiting for CallRec, a program that records every incoming and outgoing call. Saves having to write while you drive.

Pre-emptionPlease don't clutter this thread with legalities. I am aware of the laws regarding recording of telephone calls. But it is a great tool to have.)
