I was on the Facebook mobile site and I noticed that at the bottom where it asks do you want to bookmark for your phone it actually calls the 9700 the Onyx. Just something new that I noticed.
Do others see Onyx or 9700?
I think it's like that for everyone. Also, someone with a Tour reported seeing the same thing.
I was just surprised to see the code name. I had a 8900 it said 8900 not Javelin same thing with the 8520 it didn't say Gemini. I just thought it was diffrent that te said was using a code name.
Mine says Onyx as well. Doesn't just happen with BlackBerry, I have seen code names show up on WinMo devices and some dumb phones as well. Not sure why but it has to be something written in the OS of these devices somewhere that causes it.
