ok i have 1.6 and i just want to be notified when stuff happens on facebook. i don't get new messages or notifications except for what i do from within the app itself. even when i refresh the app it doesn't retrieve any new messages or notifications. what am i doing wrong?

You must have the notification e-mail account loaded to your phone. For example, my Yahoo mail goes straight to the main mailbox. My Google mail goes to a separate app, so it doesn't work with FB.

I have facebook 1.5 and i have been missing a ton of notifications too
