appears to be a smaller file size too. 1.6.0.17 was listed as 1.0MB in AppWorld, and this version is listed as 817.5kb.

yeah, I thought it was strange too. But, I'll take it

And it does seem to fix the problem where it would always refresh your friends list, even while staying in the app. The transitions and load times seem a little bit smoother now too.

why only display 1200 friends? why is there a limit? Was there this limit in the earlier versions?

Some things just don't make sense...

They need to fix the excessive compression for mobile uploads. I went back to 1.5 due to this one issue. Everything else was fine for me.

Most likely its the maximum amount that will properly refresh and not hang the device?

You run for public office or prom queen, depending on your age and gender.

Get rid of all the people you barely know and don't need to stay in touch with? Maybe you're simply a popular dude, but I never expected to meet someone that felt restricted by a 1200 friend limit. Unless you're a major pop star I can't imagine needing that many, my friends all tell me I'm crazy for having almost 500.

So I'm still using FB 1.2 on my 8330 Curve. Works fine, no problems. I get my notifications and can check the latest status updates when I want. Seems to suit my needs. I wanted to wait for the 1.6 kinks to work themselves out before possibly upgrading. Do you think it is worth it to do so? I'm scared.
