Been reading all over the web for the past few months, and I remember reading that RIM said there would be an update to the Facebook app before June 1st.... Does anyone know if this is going down tonight or not?

I thought there was talk of the new version, having the option of uploading videos? yeah I'm eagerly awaiting this as well. dare say come end of July, it may appear!

I just wish the app wasn't so darn laggy. If it ran as fluid as the Twitter app that RIM did, I would be much happier with it.

I doubt it, I haven't seen anything about it on any websites. I hardly use it, I just use the mobile site.

If its Facebook chat you want, you can use chat apps like BeejiveIM to sign into FB chat.

Before June 1? Well right now it's currently (my time) June 1st, 2010 3:43AM EST.

So I am guessing RIM got something wrong, or someones been putting false advertisement/posting about this topic.

The FB4BB app is embarrassing. The Mobile site is much more useful.
