    Is it possible to customise the facebook app for blackberry bold 9900 so that I get notified (with flashing LED) on my blackberry homescreen for a 'facebook notification" and "friend request", but not for a "facebook message"?

    Welcome to the forums!

    I may be wrong, but if you set your chat to offline in the FaceBook app, I believe it will kill all the notification for facebook message.
