I've been having problems with the facebook app today. It said it couldn't connect to the server or was having problems communicating.

In trying to fix it I deleted the app and reinstalled....BOY WAS THAT MESSED UP!

The app installed but ONLY works in portrait mode and in addition the stream still doesn't update.

Does anybody know what's happening?

As already posted in many other threads talking about the SAME EXACT thing...the facebook servers are messed up and they are working on fixing it!!!

Yeah thanks to FB updating views again Im sure this is why its all screwed up. I swear every time they get crazy and try to update they screw it up

If you go out through the browser I don't think its affected.

so I heard the FB app was up and running so I installed it again and yeah...I have a new issue. The app is so small and it only works in portrait mode...this app soooo sucks!

Dunno I installed it again and it was so messed up still for me. It only worked in portrait and worse it disable lanscape mode for me on my bbm...

Did you disable compatability mode?
