Hey guys, I'm having a problem with my facebook app. As of yesterday I stopped recieving any notification of wall posts, photo comments, messages or anything else. I didn't change any settings on my BB or in FB and yet this is what happened.

The same issue happened on my 8310 but was resolved when I upgraded from 4.2 to 4.5. Any idea on how to fix this?

I dont know what happeend, but if you log out and log back into the app it usually fixes it for me.

Had the same since yesterday on Bold with Orange.

Not receiving emails from hotmail either.

Hard reset and still the same :/

I just did a complete device wipe because after troubleshooting with RIM I started getting other errors (nullpoint exception errors after I did a hard reset.) Apparently my message database was corrupt.

The same thing used to happen to me on my Curve and now recently my Bold. After a few days, the notifications don't come. So I usually uninstall and reinstall, every 5 days or so.

Someone mentioned logging out and logging back in. I will try this the next time I don't get notifications, and will see if that works.
