Was there something wrong with the Facebook app? I haven't had any problems with status updates (I'd say probably 95% of the time). I haven't used the app in a few days though so maybe I missed something?

I'm getting my updates now, but i don't see it being faster.....

It's slow for me too.
It has always been slow to refresh streams and updates prior to the recent issue. I removed the app, and have been using the mobile version on Opera Mini ever since. The mobile site on Opera Mini is almost instant.
I downloaded the app again today, because of the claims that it's faster.
The Facebook App is still slow in comparison to viewing Facebook from Opera Mini or Bolt. With the new Email feature of replying to threads and posts from your BlackBerry Email message box, I have no need for the Facebook App anymore.
So I'm removing it once again.
Perhaps the Facebook App is faster on the newer devices. I can't say the same for my model.
