When I "delete prior" from the messages folder there is always a hanging FaceBook message that won't go away without a battery pull. What's up? I'm running OS 5.0.975 and FB 1.9.0.20.

Did you download FB from App World? I had this issue with FB 1.9.0.20 when I downloaded from App World. I deleted FB, did a battery pull and went to blackberry.com and downloaded from there. I have not had any issues since. Hope this helps.

I'll try to uninstall/reinstall through the BB site. Thanks for the tip.

I believe so. Seems to be fixed.

I tried the same thing, will see what happens. Do note that going to blackberry.com just pushes you to appworld again.

Yes jguidera, it took me right to App World too. I tried the uninstall/reinstall going through BB.com and this allowed me to initially remove the messages I could not before, but the next day, another is now stuck and won't delete. Doesn't appear that this is a permanent fix.

i get the same issue and don't have to pull the battery just do an alt shift delete to reset, essentially the same thing, but at least you don't have to take your case off. I didn't have this problem until I upgraded to the new FB a few weeks ago.

Same issue with me, only a battery pull would allow me to delete 1 or 2, but this AM, without a battery pull, I was able to delete another 2 but no more.

I went into my Facebook App. Clicked Options and Clear Cache and that worked. Once you get into the options you can uncheck the box that says Blackberry Message application and it won't put your messages in the message folder. Hope this helps.
