this version of facebook is for OS 4.6.x.xxx
if you still want to try it OTA worked for me when i got ...i was on WiFi though so ...cant hurt to try it
Is this the newest version of Facebook? I have 1.2. Worth upgrading? Is it official?
Yes, this is the latest version. Yes, worth upgrading. Nope, not official. Leaked beta. Aside from OTA never completely downloading for me on 3 different OS versions, no other problems with this version after installing via DM.
I'm sure there's a more complete change log than this somewhere, but.. since 1.2 they've added the ability to reply to comments and status updates without going to the mobile site, and your Facebook contacts and events can be synced with your BB's Address Book and Calendar.

Reason: I was wrong. For at least the second or third time. Sorry.

So will it work if I download it OTA to my Bold?

Ok. Downloaded it. When I synched my Facebook friends to my contacts, it sent them a request for their phone number. Oh god. Now people will think I'm a stalker!

you did notice that you could turn that off in options right?
Yeah but I didn't see an option for "Reguest phone numbers."

remove the check mark from blackberry contacts application
there is a question mark across from every selection which you can click that goes overboard detailing exactly what that selection does..you should have read it before just checking it moving on
