    but im connected to wifi

    facebook says: could not connect because a data service is not available.

    what can i do?


    and i have another problem: i didnt get a gps software fore my bold, and i could only download google-maps but it has that data problem...
    where can i download, telenav or bb maps, even for money...

    Let me guess.

    You don't have a BIS or BES account, right? If you have no data-plan with BlackBerry, then you'll have trouble getting stuff to work.

    Also, when you get a data-plan through BlackBerry (BIS or BES), your GPS will be activated.

    I wish I could help you with this.

    I live in Denmark, hence not knowing about how the system works where you're at.

    However, your carrier should be able to hook you up, I believe.

    Call your carrier and say you want a data plan, thats assuming this is not a work issued phone...
