i have a Bold 9780, the 6.o version and recentaly i updated facebook to the newest version and now i cant seem to turn off the noticifations to my phone. its begining to drive me crazy. I have unchecked the box on the phone app. through options, i have uninstalled and then reinstalled, i even have adjusted every possible setting i could find on the actual PC to try and fix this. Hopefully someone has some answers!!!

funny that you mention this. alot of people cant GET notifications through the app. mine only gives me about half of them. piece of junk.

I hate it too! The only way I've found is to log out of FB, then the notifications disappear off the homescreen.
