OK, I am confused.... I have had my 8330 for about a week now, and today I flip it on and I have a message indicating that my email address had been successfully setup with my blackberry (which I did a week ago when I first got my BB).

Also, there is now a Facebook icon on my menu screen. I don't have a facebook account, nor would I ever use that service.

Did this come automatically with something else I installed, such as pocket express?

On mine it came with the device, but it was a shortcut to download the app and not the actual app.

As far as why it just appeared today... was it maybe hidden and somehow you turned on the Show All option, or un-hid the shortcut?

This happens on any device since Facebook has an agreenment with RIM, a shortcut to download their app is pushed to every device. You can just hide the icon.
