I tried to ask this question on a more general FB app thread but got not response.
Since upgrading to 1.7, among other things, links which appear in updates aren't clickable (ie automatically open in BB browser). In 1.6 when you used to hover over/highlight a link in an update it would automatically open the link in the browser. IN 1.7 it doesn't and all it does is bring up a FB app menu, and none of the options are Get Link or Follow Link.
Why on earth would they have made this change? Is there a way around this? is RIM on crack with this FB app? Who's going to be the first to develop a half decent FB app alternative?
