I am running the FaceBook app by RIM, v 1.8.0.49. Does anyone know how to post links, similar to the way it is done via a regular web browser? All I can do at the moment is make my status the URL I'm trying to post.

I think to what you've done already is the extent of what is capable with the Blackberry Facebook application.

Yes - standard highlight -> copy -> paste operation, nothing fancy. Which is most likely why searching for the answer didn't get you very far.
