I have the Facebook App installed on my Bold. I have no problems using it. However, I do have a problem receiving notifications on my phone. That is, if I receive new mail or postings on my FB...I dont get any alerts on my phone. Can someone help me? Pls advise.
The way that I finally got it to work consistently was to create a blackberry email, then use that in Facebook as my notification email address. Then go through and check off the notifications that you want to receive (on the website). You'll get all your notifications properly through Facebook that way and no duplicates as emails.
You should be able to use any email address that is on your blackberry. I fixed mine by adding the FB notifications email address to my safe senders list in outlook and the '@facebook.com' address to the safe domain list.
