    For those of you that are currently using a BlackBerry 9800...how has the Facebook application on OS6 compared to that of OS5?

    I have always hated the FB app on BlackBerry, as it freezes time after time and there is simply no excuse for a onboard app like Facebook to be so buggy and troublesome IMO.

    The iPhone version of Facebook, while being far from perfect is worlds better than the one on BlackBerry. Is the new one even close to the iPhone experience?

    Again, Facebook is an application, not part of the OS.

    Other then the social feeds integration, there are no major changes to the Facebook application.

    Maybe Torch comes with 1.8/2.0? The beta version of Facebook is a vast improvement over 1.7

    The FB app on the 9800 is version 1.8, just a tiny version upgrade from the version 1.8 that's currently available on other phones as a closed beta in BB Beta Zone (or a leak).

    I've used OS 6 version of facebook and even posted a message via it. It works like it should without facebook chat. couldn't care less for the app to be honest :P
