[Smoke N Crack]

I have a question regarding getting info from Facebook. On .148 if i had an alert from Facebook I would get an red notifier on my Facebook icon, now with this new 5.0.230 build if i have an alert not only do i get an icon notifier but i also receive an email as well. i dont know how to shut this off? i am fine with it just showing on my Facebook icon, i dont need an email as well.

I went into my Facebook account on my computer and went into setting an shut offall the email alerts but when i did that i would not get any notification at all, even on my Facebook icon???? anyone have a clue?
