I can download the new 2.0 fb and it shows up as successfully installed and in my list of apps BUT then I cannot find the icon in download folder so cannot launch it - any ideas? Thanks. How do I get version 1.7 back that has now gone?

might need to delete facebook completely off the device, then reboot when prompted, then if the icon comes back, click it, if facebook launches (not the browser to install it from), then you can delete it from Options after typing App to bring up the applications list. It's likely a duplicate installation.
