    Ever since i updated my pearl to 4.5 in desktop manager, ive been trying to get on facebook. it always says "A communication failure has occured. the server may be busy, please try again later. If the problem persists contact your service provider." how can i prevent this?

    Try updating the facebook app, That fixed my issue.

    go to facebook with your BB browser and at the bottom of the page there is a link to download it to your BB device.
    it should be version 1.2

    1.5 hasn't been officially released yet./

    do a search on facebook for facebook for blackberry & redownload it.

    But if OP cant access FB on blackberry... would not updating on PC be a better idea?
