LOL. I was doing the same. trying to update and nothing. So now we wait for a bit and see if it comes true.

im running .148 storm i downloaded 1.6.0.17 at a heafty 1.9 mb for the new facebook and it rebooted phone now all facebook is gone and i cant download it again says it not a compatable phone.

I hope it does go live, for the last three days I have been receiving a notification that Facebook was "unable to retrieve upgrade information" cant figure out why it keeps trying on its own.

yes i just tried to download it OTA and it removed my icon but still shows on my applist. SO i deleted it and am re-downloading it. lets hope this works!!! 8/

I have downloaded it twice, and for some reason the icon doesn't show up anywhere!! Its in the application list with the new version number, but no icon!? Anyone else have this problem?

I get an error message when trying to install:
The application requires the following module, which is not installed: net_rim_bis_lib.

When I look at my OS files (4.5.0.138) it's in there, so it should be installed....
