The Facebook Verizon Icon that's pushed to every ones phone intalls a version of Facebook that isn't available through any other means. Version 1.6.0.22 which works with all OS 5 versions. I'm rocking it right now on .230. You must isntall by selecting the Facebook Icon that comes with the OS. Most of you may have it hidden by now. Un-hide it and install.
whats funny is some thread i read earlier a guy stated facebook 1.6.22 worked...but no one caught on to the 22 and bashed him saying fb didnt work...boy were we wrong

When I choose the icon on my Storm it still points to .21
Congratulations on getting Facebook, the one thing i didn't really care that much when I had .230. Wake me when they fix all the other little buggy things going on with 5.0 and I might give it a try again.
Along the lines of facebook... How do you get the contacts (and their associated FB images) to update on your phone? It pulled their info and pics one time when it was first avail, but now everything seems to just be old......
I wonder if this means RIM is getting ready to push 5.0? It would make sense to get key apps compatible before they release, and with the 230 build fixing most major problems (granted there are problems, but major stuff like the camera rebooting the phone is gone) I have to wonder if they're getting ready to release 5.0 for real.
