    I just installed FB 1.5 (uninstalled 1.2 first) and it seems have successfully installed (it is in my apps list) but there is no icon.

    Does it take time for the icon to appear possibly or will it most likely never appear?

    I had the same problem.. found out the version on the forums isn't compatible with the curve, gotta wait for the official release.

    I suppose it is because the BB software version I have is still only 4.5.0.131 (the latest from sprint) and I think FB 1.5 needs 4.6 ?

    yea i have the same problem. no facebook icon. looks like im goin back to 1.2

    I just noticed that my Facebook 1.2 icon disappeared too. I reinstalled it and now I get push notifications for new messages. I can even read the messages from the app. I never got that before.

    As far as I know, Facebook 1.5 that has leaked is for OS 4.6 only.
