I deleted apps and I think one of the ones I want to keep on my 8330 is a barcode reader for shopping! I am not sure which one though....Scanlife or Edocrab or if there's something else I need to consider.

Who's the developer?

Edocrab only shows US pricing. Anyone know if ScanLife works with Canadian pricing?

Other than the QR codes mentioned, are there other differences?

Seemed like one of them didn't provide support for non-auto focus cams. I have the 8330.

ScanLife it works better I tried it...btw I only have just an 8520

I want to say Edocrab didn't work correctly on my 8330m but I can't remember anymore. I deleted it because I never used it. Never tried ScanLife on 8330 - but I have it on my 9650 and I like it quite a bit.

Just downloaded scanlife to my BB Storm. It works fine. After taking a photo of the barcode, it process it and beeps. Then the browser opens to a photo of the product with some links for additional information.
