So I reinstalled the eBay app on my Tour and then realized why I had uninstalled it in the first place a few months ago. Normally Meterberry says that my extended-life battery drains at about 0.5% to 1% per hour when the phone is idle. With the eBay app installed, this increases to around 3-4% when idle. The battery drops like crazy.
I don't know why this happens. The app isn't running in the background from what I can tell, it's merely installed on the phone. I have definitely traced my battery drain to the eBay app however. If you're seeing your battery life shortened, at least on the Tour, this may be your problem.
