    Hey guys,

I had a question I've been meaning to ask for a while. Many apps nowadays, including popular ones like DropBox, are asking for "Personal Information" upon launch.

When I click "Details", it says this may include information like my e-mail address, contacts, other saved files and that it all may be shared with third-parties. I don't know about you guys, but even though DropBox is offering me a free service here, it bugs me. I don't see what personal storage has to do with the Personal Information they're asking for.

So usually, I uncheck the box and launch the application without sharing information, but it's tiresome having to do this everytime. Is this really a big deal? Should I just let DropBox (among other apps) do what it wants? Anyone know what information they're really collecting and relaying?

    Thanks.
