So the App error 523 showed up on my bold a couple of days ago. I've read up on what I can do but all the solutions are using a PC...I'm on a MAC so I can't restore using the bb desktop. I've removed the battery, I've done a reset using the alt, shift, del keys....and nothing helps. It's locked up.
Does anyone out there know of a solution for me using a MAC? I really need to get this fixed.
Unfortunately, I do not believe that you can restore a bricked Blackberry without the use of a PC. I do not believe that an Apple computer will allow you to perform the operation. Either find a PC, or call AT&T to get a warranty replacement.
