Hi, I'm thinking of buying the premium version of Docs to Go for my Storm. I do need the functionality to create and edit word and excel documents in my Storm, and a PDF reader is a definite must. However, I noticed that some say you can just put a blank word / excel template in the standard Docs to Go and it will work fine. If this trick works, I might just purchase BeamReader, which at $19.95 is much cheaper than docs to go. Appreciate any advice I can get. Thanks.
Yes, the blank document trick works without a problem. Just create a blank word document, excel workbook and powerpoint presentation in office. Then either transfer them to the documents folder on your device or media card using mass storage mode or by emailing them to yourself. Now all you have to do is open any of those blank items in their respective app and then use the save as option when you are done to save your work and still keep the blank item to use for next time.
