I have been away from the BB scene for some time now, got a Hero, and recently came back to BB, back in the day it was BBWeather, is this still true?

Let me rephrase the question, BBWeather, or Weatherbug (free)?

BeWeather Free is better than both of those. But if I had to choose between them, then I would pick BBWeather, as it has a better UI for the 8530.

BBWeather is still my choice. I love the UI and the three simple, easy to get to, views.
NWS Client is pretty good too--it uses National Weather Service feeds.
