I've made whole process, I've installed Crackutil at W7 and followed completely the steps. The program run ok, I've clicked on Reset IT Policy, a window opened asking to write ResetITPolicy. I dit it, the telephone restart, but the Enterprise mode were there! So I could not to configure my personal e-mail. This 8520 was given to me by my company, but for personal usage because it was changed by a Bold one for proffessional usage. Could you tell me what am I doing wrong? Thank you!

@hepmaria....you can get rid of the phone password by entering the wrong password several times and then it will wipe the device of all the data and then you can enter the new password

The password Crackutil is asking for is your device password. You'd know it if you had one. If Crackutil is asking for one and you don't have one, then you probably have too new a device to use Crackutil. It hasn't been supported by the developer in over 2 years, and may not work with your OS. There are currently supported products such as BB Swiss Army Knife that may meet your needs.

sorry my english, i try to write better i can. when i open de crackutil whit bb conect it need a device password but i dont have one. so i click "ok" or "cancel" and appear file access denied. then i can't click nothing... i hope i can help me

Thanks Pete 6 for your creation.
I have read thru the first 20 or so pages of posts now have now skipped ahead..
Am I correct in thinking that BSAK and other programs are more up to date / current than this one, now as time has gone by..and tech has changed...
My Question is does this program do things the others can't or don't.. Would there be a situation where This would be better / more appropriate than say BSAK ?

It is Very Apparent that a Lot of people have benefited from this program.. Look at the number of pages of posts... so certainly kudos !

Pete6 no longer supports CrackUtil and you are correct, time has passed it by. It was a terrific utility when he created it, but the current editions of tools like BBSAK and BlackBerry Master Control Panel are better choices now.

I could tell in its day CrackUtil must have been just the thing needed.

My blackberry 9780 has a 545 JVM error but when i enter my password on Crackutil it wil reset itself and the progam says"Wrong Password or Phone not connected " i got same problem with JL_Cmder when i try to wipe it it wil reboot.

What do i need to do ?

i dl the prog and installed and its saying 'file access denighed" and wont let me use it al all, bu t it does pop up, and at the bottom of the crackult window its says "retrieving os version'' but nothing happens
