What is the best contact manager?

I never really imported my email addresses and have never really messed with any apps. i was wondering if there was an app that i could use while my BB is synced to my computer to edit contacts and add their email addresses. it seems like it would be really quick and easy with my mouse as opposed to scrolling around and copying+pasting through the phone itself.

Google for "ABC Amber BlackBerry Editor" Back up your berry and open the IPD with this. Edit, and restore.

i tried that the other day, but when i went to put the backup back on the BB, it said it wasn't a valid file.

"the file could not be opened. it does not appear to be a valid database file"
