    Is removing the micro sd card and discarding apps on your PC a way of removing apps from an 8350i or are they stored on the device in another manner?

    You can delete your apps manually on your phone or by using desktop manager.

    Options-->Applications-->highlight App for deletion-->Menu key-->Delete.
