ChordGenie Review - Guitar Tuner, Chord Finder/Builder
Looking for a guitar chord builder/finder? Need a metronome, tuner or pitch pipe? What if it worked for your guitar, banjo, mandolin, ukulele (in C or D), tenor guitar, 4 string, 5 string or 3 string. We'll you can have it in Chord Genie by Inigma Media. I was digging around and found a few that crashed on my 8830 but this one installed flawlessly and tested fine. Went to paypal to unlock for $8 and immediately got the unlock code and installed without a hitch.
To enter your unlock code dont try to type it in. Just use the trackball. Took me a minute to figure that one out. Other than that I recommend it.Treo 300,600,700P,700WX, BB8830 OS.4.5.0.135 - 11-29-2008, 12:51 AM #2

Can't you pick up a standard tuner for like $5?

I downloaded the demo and it seems pretty cool and functional but for the time being, I don't really need it. I have a great tuner and I only play bass with the occasional bar chord.
When I begin learning to seriously play guitar, I have a feeling I will buy this however. If you wanna get down let me show you the way,
WHOOP! There it is, let me hear you say... - 06-10-2009, 07:00 AM #10
Doesn't work on the Storm, isn't touch screen compatible, you need a trackball for this app...too bad though, could be a very useful app.

For a metronome, you can copy mp3 files to your BlackBerry and play them for a range of beats. Go to reztronics.com and click "Metronome". Note that although the page says that these files are for iPods, these files should work on any mp3 players including BlackBerrys. They work on my BlackBerry Tour.
