I would like to ask if anyone is using something beside Desk Top Manager for backing up the phone data. Today I exchanged my BB 9550 Storm 2 and I really learned the limitations of Desk Top Manager.

What was not restored was all 3rd party applications, themes and desktop launchers. This was a huge disappoinment.

Are there any other options out there for backing up a Blackberry, something that will back up and save every single byte?

    Thank You

It is known that DM does not back up 3rd party apps, themes or launchers.

I am sorry for you're loss.

For this you need BBSAK (Blackberry Swiss Army Knife).

Your frustrations could have been avoided by searching the forums for 3rd party back up instructions.

Unfortunately, it's a 2-step, 2-program solution. Like was said above, use BBSAK for the 3rd party apps and DM for the core stuff. When it comes to restoring, restore the DM first and then the 3rd party apps.
