    There are many apps like this for Android and iPhone. Why not for BlackBerry?? Its for fun, promoting own place or using it inside of a building if gps does not work.. whatever.

    You can search for places that are in the area and check in at them, not sure about complete spoofing a place that you are not around

    BlackBerry needs apps like these:

    More than 6 apps to spoof geolocation for android. But there's no one for BlackBerry.

    I don't know about spoofing a geolocation. But if you check in someplace around you, you can just edit the name.

    Of course you can add new places to your recent location. You are in Los Angeles and add a place "Hawaii", haha.

    There are facebook apps called "my places" or "place anywhere" and you can check-in anywhere at your pc. But on the wall is written "via my places" etc.

    You can check-in anywhere as well with firefox and the add-on "geolocator" and using m.facebook.com (via Mobile Web)

    Check-in via BlackBerry is just possible with the BlackBerry simulator, there you can change the geolocation.
