Hey guys, I just got my new, warrantied storm in with the day and I'm still unable to update my app center...

It's been on the "Updating application list. Please wait...." screen for a long time.

Is there something else I can try or will I be calling verizon?

Are you able to access the browser and load google?

yes i can.. the error it's giving me now is:

"An error occured while udating the application list: Insufficient wireless coverage."

I'm in 3g with all bars...

Do you have a capital 1VEX by your signal bars?

Try doing ##000000 send and enter 'vzw' in the SIP Password field, BB button, save.

no I'm running the 5.0 hybrid, it says 3g for me.

I'll try calling that number now and report back.

App Center doesnt load for me either on 5.0. I dont care though because it is pretty much useless now that blackberry AppWorld was released. dL it from your device at BlackBerry App World

Did what you recomended leigh, but the new error message during update says "An error occured while updating the application lit: Error 404."

I have a Tour with the .230/.238 hybrid and I get the same error. I was hoping it wouldn't affect you on the Storm, but I'm thinking it is. What did you need from the app center? I can see if you can get it a different way.

App center does not run on 5.0, but I dont miss it much.
